Art Classes
Our studio work is structured around the following areas: drawing, painting, sculpture, composition, and ceramics.
Drawing
practicing form, proportion, and construction, and applying other visual tools.
Painting
learning materials and methods for applying and layering paint, as well as methods for analyzing light and color harmonies.
Sculpture
working on 3D models, including sculpting armature, with materials such as plasticine and air-dry modeling clay.
Composition
refining core ideas and concepts for artworks, selecting the appropriate technical tools, and developing sketches. Creative approaches are tailored to each student’s needs.
Ceramics
developing ideas and sketches, clay sculpting, preparation for firing, bisque firing, painting, glazing, and glaze firing
